Is your church or ministry group looking for a female speaker?

If you’re wanting a woman to come and speak to the women at your church or ministry group, we’re able to give you names of women that are happy to speak at events and to run ministry training seminars. Please see details at the end of this page.

The Archdall Preaching Bursary, provided by Anglican Deaconess Ministries, supports a woman who has particular gifts in preaching in her ongoing preaching training with Department of Evangelism and New Churches in the Sydney Diocese. It recognises the need to train women in preaching and publicly teaching the Bible, implementing the vision of Rev. Mervyn Archdall and Mrs Martha Archdall and others in Anglican Deaconess Ministries who wanted to develop women’s ministry.

As the scholarship winner, Stephanie Judd, who is a fourth year student at Moore Theological College in 2016, and is a candidate for ordination in the Sydney Anglican Diocese, is mentored in preaching by Lesley Ramsay. Stephanie’s program will involve her preaching evangelistic, topical, and expository sermons as an itinerant preacher. She will also be available for running training seminars for those in lay ministry.

Stephanie is married to Andrew Judd who is the Associate Minister at St Barnabas, Broadway. Before attending college Stephanie worked as an Assistant Chaplain & Christian Studies teacher at Abbotsleigh Girls High School, & before that trained as an opera singer. She loves the inner west of Sydney, good coffee, & going for runs near the water.

Please contact Jane for Stephanie’s details.
