The Priscilla & Aquila Centre focuses on encouraging women’s ministry in both local churches and para-church organisations.
The P&A Centre is named after Priscilla and Aquila, a remarkable Jewish couple whose labours for Christ left their mark not only on the lives of many but also on the New Testament record. They worked together in teaching the eloquent and competent Bible teacher Apollos to teach and defend the gospel “more accurately” (Acts 18:26-28). Paul refers warmly about them in several letters as his fellow workers (Romans 16:3-4; 1 Corinthians 16:19; 2 Timothy 4:19).
Priscilla and Aquila are a wonderful example of faithful service together in the cause of Jesus Christ and their example has broad application to women and men serving together in ministry. It is fitting that the Centre is named after them.
