Here are some things I have found helpful recently online.

Men and women in Romans 16: A portrait for today by Murray Campbell 03/02/2022
In the discussions surrounding the ministries of men and women, Romans 16 is too often neglected. Murray Campbell shows us that Romans 16 is an excellent example of men and women doing ministry together. He also shares some insights about its application for us today.
The quiet and crucial work of deacons by Marshall Segal 03/07/2022
There are many different views in the church today about deacons. Marshall Segal believes that both men and women can be deacons. He shares what he thinks deacons should do, what their character should be like, and the importance of their ministries.
The Pastor’s Heart: The trans culture wars vs lovingly pastoring gender incongruent church members by Rob Smith and Dominic Steele 06/07/2022
Dominic Steele interviews Rob Smith, who has worked for the last few years on a PhD that asks, along with other things, “How significant are our bodies to our gender identity?” Rob shares his definition of a woman (which, for some in our society today, is such a controversial question), and also some of what Scripture has to say sexually about being a man and a woman both now and in the new creation. Besides his PhD, Rob has authored a new book, “How Should We Think About Gender and Identity? (Questions for Restless Minds)”.
Book review: Strange New World (Carl R Trueman) by John McClean 06/07/2022
John McClean gives a very helpful review of Carl Trueman’s “Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked the Sexual Revolution”. In McClean’s words, this book is the little brother to Trueman’s “The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self”. It’s shorter (half the size) and more accessible (plus it includes a glossary, it has no footnotes, and it has a chapter on suggestions for a Christian response). If you ever wonder how have we gotten to a place where people feel like they cannot answer the question, “What is a woman?”, then this would be a helpful book for you to read.
