The teaching of men and women in the Book of Proverbs by Dan Wu 01/02/2021

Published on: 24 Mar 2021
Author: Priscilla & Aquila Centre

Elective presented at the 2021 Priscilla & Aquila annual conference.

Biblical wisdom literature is fundamentally about shaping our lives in harmony with how God has made the world: in tune with our created nature and his purposes for us. As such, it is a goldmine of teaching and reflection on issues critical to the theology and lived experience of Complementarian life and ministry. This talk explores what God says about the teaching of men and women in Proverbs in conversation with contemporary scholarship on Proverbs, and it then reflects on how this informs and advances our understanding and practice of a biblical, positive, Complementarian life and ministry.
